Villa Orchidées, situated at the well known residential area of Pointe d'Esny, possesses a beautiful sea view of the lagoon of Grand Port. The Villa is positioned on an elevated garden, two metres above sea level and assures the privacy needed from the people on the beach. Furnished with teakwood, the villa comprises all the facilities found in a luxurious beach villa.

The spacious living room and dining room, decorated with local art paintings, include an open sea facing terrace on one side and a huge garden terrace with a sliding glass door on the other side. Besides having a fully equipped and modern kitchen, it also has an outdoor kitchen preparation area, which lays adjacent to the laundry room. There is a beautifully designed and decorated master bedroom, with separate shower and toilet, facing the sea.

A staircase links to the first floor, where two garden view and two sea view bedrooms are to be found. There is one children's bedroom, including twin beds and additional sliding beds, and a shared bathroom with the other twin beds garden facing rooms. The two sea facing bedrooms comprised of a king sized bed with own toilet and shower. The master suite lives up to the same as a five star resort suite.

Villa Orchidees has five air conditioned bedrooms.

First Floor

On the first floor there is one master suite of 45m² with Jacuzzi, double wash basin, walk in closet separate toilet and shower, sitting television area, and sea view. There is one double room of 20 m² with shower and sea views. One double room of 20 m² has a connecting bathroom with shower (shared with children bathroom with separate entrance), and garden views. There is one children's room of 2m² with capacity of four children, and garden views.

Ground Floor

There is one master bedroom of 24m² with own bathroom, separate toilet and shower, and sea views. There is a large fully equipped kitchen with storage room. There is a living room and a dining room which opens to a terrace of 65m² and sea views. Also on the ground floor, there is a guest toilet and an enclosed garden terrace of 45m².

Kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils including plates and cutlery for one person; as well as gas cooking stove and oven, fridge, toaster, freezer, boiler and coffee maker, TV and satellite, mini Hi-Fi and DVD, BBQ equipment, generator and emergency light system, security system with response, outdoor shower, sun deck chairs, and telephone with local calls.

Additional Services

Bed sheets and towels provided every three days, as well as maid service everyday for a minimum of four hours, with optional additional four hours available. There is also a dedicated guest relation service, 24 hour hotline service, and for an extra fee a cook can be provided - or the maid can prepare simple meals.

Late check out policy:
Villas, Apartments and Studios

For all the accommodation, the check-in time is general14:00 (2 pm local time), and check-out time is 11:00 (11 am local time). Guests can ask for early arrival or late departure. Generally, charges apply equivalent to 50% of the normal rate for one night.

- Early check-in is considered to be as from 06h00
- Late check-out is considered to be before 18h00

Cancellation Policy:

Payment

You must pay a deposit at the time of confirmation of your booking. This is usually 30% of the total amount. Sometimes a higher deposit is required, if airlines or other service providers request full payment. This especially applies for airlines, and certain accommodations requiring higher advance deposits -this happens mostly during peak season.

If you are booking within 40 or less days of the commencement of your visit, full payment will be due right away.

Balances to be paid must reach our account no less than 35 days before your visit with us. If we do not receive all payments due in full and on time, we are entitled to assume that you wish to cancel your booking. In this case, we will be entitled to keep all deposits paid or due at that date.

For some group tours, an additional interim payment is required, of which you will be notified at the time of quotation.

Credit card payments may incur a surcharge, which is advised at the time of payment. The surcharge range between 1 to 3% of the total invoiced amount.

Modification and cancellation policies:


Any modification or cancellation of a confirmed reservation for services will entail additional charges equivalent to the corresponding costs charged by the service providers. These charges may include penalties, administration fees and bank charges.

Airline tickets are personal and cannot be modified, transferred to or replaced by somebody else's name.

We will do our utmost to facilitate changes before the travel date; however please be advised that most flight tickets are non-refundable and that our partners apply cancellation fees. If cancellations occur within seven days after booking of services, a 3% administration fee applies. Deposits for cancellation of confirmed services more than 7 days after booking are non-refundable.

Every service provider has their own cancellation policy and cancellation fee amount. Maurisun has standardised their payment terms and cancellation fees in an effort to provide our clients with a standard policy. We will advise upon booking if conditions have become more restrictive. We refer to the General Conditions if no others are stated in the price list or no special conditions are enclosed with the invoice.

General Cancellation Policy for accommodations after full payment has been made:

- Cancellation within 30 days of booking: 50% of full amount
- Cancellation within 14days of booking: 75% of full amount
- Cancellation within 7 days of booking: 100% of full amount

Cancellation conditions are generally more restrictive for accommodation during peak season (Mid December to mid January) with 100% of the full amount being withheld within 45 days of booking.
