Coin de Mire Hotel - Room Rates on Half Board

Looking seaward, one finds a picture postcard view of the northern islands. A small coastal road separates the hotel from this beautiful view and a white sandy beach. The hotel also offers a view of the splendid tropical sunset, with the distinct silhouette of Coin de Mire Island in the background.

All its 75 rooms face the lush tropical garden that surrounds the hotel. The rooms are tastefully furnished, in the local style of the island, with cane and wooden furniture, spreading a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

A bar and restaurant are grouped around the swimming pool, in a nice setting. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the La Paillotte restaurant, which offers a great variety of local dishes. The Belle Vue Bar serves snacks and tropical cocktails.

A variety of land and water sports are available free of charge, for all the hotel guests. Additionally, guests have access to all the free activities offered by the other hotels of Veranda resorts such as the Veranda Hotel, Le Palmar Beach Resort, Marina Club and Resort and Paul and Virginie Hotel.

There is a restaurant, La Paillotte, a bar, La Belle Vue, and two swimming pools at Coin de Mire Hotel.

Sea and land sports facilities include glass bottom boat tours, kayaking, pedalo, snorkelling, sea-scope, French bowling, beach volley, table tennis, indoor games, pool table, video games and a fitness centre.

Additional Informatioin
Coin de Mire Hotel is situated on the coastal road, at Bain Boeuf, between the villages Pereybere and Cap Malheureux. There is a lagoon with a nice coral reef protected by a rock wall, with a small staircase leading up to the coastal road.

The hotel is only 4 km from the village of Grand Bay, 20 km from Port Louis and 68 km from the airport.

Transport to Grand Bay:
It is a ride of 10 to 15 min by public bus and costs Rs 20 one way.
It is a 10 min drive by taxi and costs Rs 200 one way.
A ferry departs from the hotel beach to Grand Bay every morning. A nominal fee is charged for the ferry trip.

Coin de Mire Hotel is an ideal location for relaxation, adventure, family holiday or honeymoon.

Hotels, Resorts and Villa Resorts

For all the accommodation, the check-in time is generally 14:00 (2 pm local time), and check-out time is 11:00 (11 am local time). Guests can ask for early arrival or late departure. Generally, charges apply equivalent to 50% of the normal rate for one night.

- Early check-in is considered to be as from 06h00
- Late check-out is considered to be before 18h00

Infants below one will not be charged.

Payment

You must pay a deposit at the time of confirmation of your booking. This is usually 30% of the total amount. Sometimes a higher deposit is required, if airlines or other service providers request full payment. This especially applies for airlines, and certain accommodations requiring higher advance deposits -this happens mostly during peak season.

If you are booking within 40 or less days of the commencement of your visit, full payment will be due right away.

Balances to be paid must reach our account no less than 35 days before your visit with us. If we do not receive all payments due in full and on time, we are entitled to assume that you wish to cancel your booking. In this case, we will be entitled to keep all deposits paid or due at that date.

For some group tours, an additional interim payment is required, of which you will be notified at the time of quotation.

Credit card payments may incur a surcharge, which is advised at the time of payment. The surcharge range between 1 to 3% of the total invoiced amount.

Modification and cancellation policies

Any modification or cancellation of a confirmed reservation for services will entail additional charges equivalent to the corresponding costs charged by the service providers. These charges may include penalties, administration fees and bank charges.

Airline tickets are personal and cannot be modified, transferred to or replaced by somebody else's name.

We will do our utmost to facilitate changes before the travel date; however please be advised that most flight tickets are non-refundable and that our partners apply cancellation fees. If cancellations occur within seven days after booking of services, a 3% administration fee applies. Deposits for cancellation of confirmed services more than 7 days after booking are non-refundable.

Every service provider has their own cancellation policy and cancellation fee amount. Maurisun has standardised their payment terms and cancellation fees in an effort to provide our clients with a standard policy. We will advise upon booking if conditions have become more restrictive. We refer to the General Conditions if no others are stated in the price list or no special conditions are enclosed with the invoice.

General Cancellation Policy for accommodations after full payment has been made:

- Cancellation within 14 days of booking: 50% of full amount
- Cancellation within 7 days of booking: 75% of full amount
- Cancellation within 72 hours of booking: 100% of full amount

Cancellation conditions are generally more restrictive for accommodation during peak season (Mid December to mid January) with 100% of the full amount being withheld within 45 days of booking.
