Le Preskil Beach Resort - 4 Star Hotel

Only 15 minutes from the international airport and near the historical village of Mahebourg, Le Preskil Beach Resort can be found on a private peninsula off the Southeast coast of Mauritius.

The resort offers more than a beautiful view of the lagoon: being close to the Blue Bay Marine Park and the majestic mountain range of the east as well as some typical Creole style villages, the area offers a real Mauritian experience.

The Lagoon rooms are spread out harmoniously into one storey building lots across the peninsula, whereas the Prestige rooms and Deluxe Penthouse are located in colonial style cottages offering breathtaking view over the lagoon, the Lion Mountain and the outer islands.

The newly built convention centre with six conference and one executive board room hosts seminars and meetings for up to 800 participants and is a very attractive place for international conferences due to its proximity to the airport.

Restaurants & Bars

Spices - Half board restaurant (opening hours: 07:00 - 10:30 and 19:00 - 22:30)

The hotel's main restaurant comprises of various settings, each offering a specific thematic decoration, is opened daily for breakfast and dinner.

In the evenings discover a cultural crossroad with theme buffets and table d'hote, where you can savour the various Mauritian cuisines.

Fisherman's cove - A sea odyssey (opening hours: 19:00 - 22:30)

This restaurant located on the pool deck offers a wide variety of the best seafood of our lagoon.

Our Chef will use the ocean's treasure to combine the refinement and subtlety of his cuisine into a pure delight for your eyes and palate!

Tapas Grill and Beach Bar (opening hours: 12:00 - 15:30 and 19:30 - 22:30)

Ideally located on the beachfront, you will come across a charming Mediterranean-style deck, which proposes sunshine cuisine, with a hint of the tropics, at lunchtime.

Indigo Bar (lunch 12:00 - 18:00 and Bar 09:30 - 01:00)

This lively meeting-place offers an international selection of exotic cocktails, as well as light meals during the day.

In the evening, the bar is an ideal setting to enjoy a warm and a musical atmosphere.

Evening entertainment

Changing rooms for early arrivals or late departures (open 24 hours a day) including luggage storage facilities

Children's club operates from 09:00 to 20:00 everyday for children from four to 12 years and babysitting is available on request for a nominal fee

Hotels, Resorts and Villa Resorts

For all the accommodation, the check-in time is generally 14:00 (2 pm local time), and check-out time is 11:00 (11 am local time). Guests can ask for early arrival or late departure. Generally, charges apply equivalent to 50% of the normal rate for one night.

• Early check-in is considered to be as from 06h00
• Late check-out is considered to be before 18h00

Only one child will be permitted to share a room with two adults. This facility is free of charge for a child under two years of age. For children between three and 11, there will be a charge of 25 Euros per night.

This facility is not applicable in the case of Deluxe Penthouse, where only babies will be allowed to stay with two adults.

Minimum two, maximum three children may be accommodated in a separate room, except in the Deluxe Penthouse.

The rates for this will be as follows:

• From mid-April to September end: 40% discount on adult rate
• Rest of the year: 25% discount on adult rate.

Payment

You must pay a deposit at the time of confirmation of your booking. This is usually 30% of the total amount. Sometimes a higher deposit is required, if airlines or other service providers request full payment. This especially applies for airlines, and certain accommodations requiring higher advance deposits -this happens mostly during peak season.

If you are booking within 40 or less days of the commencement of your visit, full payment will be due right away.

Balances to be paid must reach our account no less than 35 days before your visit with us. If we do not receive all payments due in full and on time, we are entitled to assume that you wish to cancel your booking. In this case, we will be entitled to keep all deposits paid or due at that date.

For some group tours, an additional interim payment is required, of which you will be notified at the time of quotation.

Credit card payments may incur a surcharge, which is advised at the time of payment. The surcharge range between 1 to 3% of the total invoiced amount.

Modification and cancellation policies:

Any modification or cancellation of a confirmed reservation for services will entail additional charges equivalent to the corresponding costs charged by the service providers. These charges may include penalties, administration fees and bank charges.

Airline tickets are personal and cannot be modified, transferred to or replaced by somebody else's name.

We will do our utmost to facilitate changes before the travel date; however please be advised that most flight tickets are non-refundable and that our partners apply cancellation fees. If cancellations occur within seven days after booking of services, a 3% administration fee applies. Deposits for cancellation of confirmed services more than 7 days after booking are non-refundable.

Every service provider has their own cancellation policy and cancellation fee amount. Maurisun has standardised their payment terms and cancellation fees in an effort to provide our clients with a standard policy. We will advise upon booking if conditions have become more restrictive. We refer to the General Conditions if no others are stated in the price list or no special conditions are enclosed with the invoice.

General Cancellation Policy for accommodations after full payment has been made:

• Cancellation within 14 days of booking: 50% of full amount
• Cancellation within 7 days of booking: 75% of full amount
• Cancellation within 72 hours of booking: 100% of full amount
  
  

Cancellation conditions are generally more restrictive for accommodation during peak season (Mid December to mid January) with 100% of the full amount being withheld within 45 days of booking.

Christmas and New Year's Eve Supplement will be charged as given below:

Christmas Eve supplement - 20.00 Euros per adult and 10.00 Euros per child
New Year's Eve Supplement - 38.00 Euros per adult and 19.00 Euros per child
