Resdence Caprice - Self Catering Apartment

Le Caprice is located close to several well-known hotels like the Trou aux Biches hotel, Casuarina Hotel, Grand Blue and Coralia Club Hotel. If you're looking for a reasonable and comfortable place without having to feel a money crunch, Le Caprice is the place to check into.

Most of the facilities such as the bank, money changer, beaches, water sport centre, super market, taxi stand, and the bus stop are within a few minutes' walking distance.

Grand Bay lies about four kilometres away from Le Caprice, and Port Louis about seventeen kilometres away.     

Facilities

The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils including plates, glasses, knives and forks for six persons. It also has a fridge, freezer, gas cooking facility and a traditional oven, toaster, kettle and a coffee press.

Other facilities in the accommodation include -

• Washing machine, Iron and Iron board
• Television and DVD player
• A/C in the bedroom
• Ceiling and stand fan
• Telephone (for local calls or international calls, using prepaid card)

Additional Facilities/ Services

• Night watchman
• Daily maid service from 8:00 am to 4 pm, including Sundays
• Private car parking area
• Mosquito nets for all windows
• Visitor caller
• Fire Extinguisher
• Hot and cold water supply in Kitchen, toilet and bathroom
• Beach and bathroom towels and bed sheets (These can be changed every two days, if it's not raining.

The maid will also cook for an extra payment. The arrangement will need to be done directly with the maid.

Late check out will be as per the Maurisun policy.

Payment
You will need to make an advance payment, usually 30% of the total amount, as a deposit to confirm your booking. Maurisun Adventure & Tours will communicate to you the amount to be paid in advance, at the time of booking.

The deposit may vary, depending upon the various factors that make the package and the tourist season of the year (peak season or off season). For some group tours, there could be an additional interim deposit.

Outstanding balance must be paid not less than six weeks prior to your arrival.

In case of last minute bookings, you will need to make the full payment at the time of booking.

There will be a 3% surcharge for payment made through credit card.

If payment is not received by the due date, your reservation will be considered cancelled, with no return of the deposit. We will, of course, endeavour to contact you first.

Conditions for Cancellations

General conditions will apply, in the absence of any special conditions or stipulations in the price list. Any special conditions will be enclosed with the invoice.

The general conditions applicable in case of cancellations are:

- within 30 days         20%
- within 14 days         60%
- within 7 days           80%
- within 72 hours       100%

Please note that these conditions might change for some accommodation and periods, i.e. Peak season (Mid December to mid January) 45 days: 100%.

In case of overbooking or when the service provider fails to provide the promised accommodation, Maurisun reserves the right to accommodate the traveller in the same type of accommodation and standard, if not better. 

Cancellation by Agent

In the unlikely event of the cancellation of a trip by the Tour Operator, the agent will propose an equivalent trip and/or package to the client.

If the client chooses to refuse that option, then the agent shall refund the entire amount paid to him by the client. Additionally, the agent will pay the client a cancellation fee equivalent to what the agent would have claimed if the client had cancelled his trip.

The only exception to the above would be cases of force majeure, such as a natural calamity. 

Technical Provider and Financial Security

Your agent who booked the package for you is your Technical Provider.

Maurisun Adventure & Tours Ltd is an accredited agent, recognised by The Tourist Authority of Mauritius.

Maurisun cannot be held liable for any omissions, misprint, misspelling that might occur in the production of this brochure and the price list.
