Mauritius is an ideal destination for an catamaran cuise experience that offers loads of sun, miles of coral reefs teeming with sea creatures and beautiful scenery with backdrop of a tropical island. There are pitons rising from the central plateau, interesting outer islets and small islands within the lagoons such as Coin de Mire, Ile Plate Island and Ile aux Benitiers Island. These, together with great weather for swimming and good food derived from African, Asian and European influences guarantee an unforgettable vacation.

On the Catamaran Mauritius South cruise you will discover the south-eastern coast of Mauritius and visit our famous little islands such as Ile de La Passe, Ile aux Phares and Ile aux Cerfs. The cruise operates on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays only.
PAYMENT
A deposit is required at the time of confirming the booking, usually 30% of the total cost. Maurisun Adventure & Tours will notify guests of the actual amount at the time of booking. A higher deposit amount is sometimes required, because airlines or service providers request full payment, or some hotels require higher advance deposits, especially during peak season. For some group tours, an additional interim payment is required.
Outstanding balances must be paid not less than 6 weeks prior to arrival before your arrangements with us commence. Full payment will be required immediately for last-minute bookings.
Please note that credit card payments are subject to a 3% surcharge.
If payment is not received by the due date, your reservation will be cancelled and deposit retained. We will of course endeavour to contact you before cancelling.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Refer to the general conditions if no others are stated in the price list. Any special conditions will be enclosed with the invoice.
Here are the amounts that will be retained by us for cancellations:
-Cancellation within 30 days of booking - 20%
-Cancellation within 14 days - 60%
-Cancellation within 7 days - 80%
-Cancellation with 72 hours - 100%
N.B. Conditions might change for some accommodations and periods, e.g., cancellations within 45 days of booking during the peak season (mid December to mid January) will attract a penalty of 100% of the amount.
Whenever there is a case of overbooking or if the service provider fails to make available the booked accommodation, Maurisun reserves the right to accommodate the traveller in the same standard of accommodation and if not better.
CANCELLATION BY AGENT
In the unlikely event of the cancellation of a package trip by the Tour Operator, the agent will propose an equivalent trip and/or package to the client.
If the client chooses to refuse that option, then the agent shall refund the total amount already paid by the client as well as a cancellation fee equivalent to the one the agent would have claimed if the client had cancelled his trip.
The only exception to the above would be cases of force majeure.
TECHNICAL PROVIDER AND FINANCIAL SECURITY
- The agent that you have booked the trip through is considered the Technical Provider.
- Maurisun Adventure & Tours Ltd registered as a Travel/Tour Operator in Mauritius. The license is issued by The Tourist Authority of Mauritius and constitutes a guarantee that the operator will uphold the laws and regulations set by the government to secure your vacation.
- Our license number is 0191.
- The accredited agent may hold a license in the countries of origin providing a further guarantee for vacation packages.
- Maurisun cannot be held liable for any omissions, misprints or misspelling that may occur in the production of this brochure and price list.
We recommend that guests bring along their sun cream, towel, bathing suit, camera, sun glasses and a hat or sun cap on the cruise.
Mineral water, fruit juice and soft drinks will be available on board. Local beers will be served throughout the journey. We will offer white and red wine during lunch and a rum cocktail during the return journey.
The menu will consist of smoked marlin mousse, fish barbeque, mixed salad and rice. A selection of seasonal fruits, bread, cheese and coffee will also be available.
